Each brings an extra layer of experience and professionalism to their role that ensures that you get to have the best experience possible 
Colleen
I have been cutting hair now for 50yrs. Myself and my sister Diahann opened McLaren Vale Barbershop in 1996. With only one chair we worked half the week each which allowed more time with our small children In 2008 I bought Diahann out as she pursued a shop in the city. Darren came to work for me in 2009 and in 2010 I offered him a partnership and so we put in 2 chairs A few years later we expanded our shop to 3 chairs with a bigger Team. I am now semiretired and work a couple of days a week. I couldn’t ask for better clients and better business partner and awesome team to work with. McLaren Vale is a fabulous region of which I have seen many changes in the last 26 years and I have loved every minute of this community. We provide our services with love, laughter and professionalism. On a personal note I have been blessed with 3 children, all girls, and 10 precious grandchildren. 7 girls 3 boys who I adore more than words can express. Fortunately, I see most of them often as they live nearby so I get to help my daughters out with school pickup and minding. When I’m not cutting hair I love to go hiking, rock and roll dancing and working out in my home gym.
Darren
My hairdressing journey begun in England circa 1990. During my apprenticeship I worked in many varied salon environments from quiet village hair parlours to the busy city salons of London and surrounding areas. By 1997 I left England to travel to Australia. During the next 12 years I travelled the world shaping heads and breaking hearts. After which time a much younger Colleen Witham and I crossed paths and our lives were enriched from that day onwards. I have been working at the shop for over 13 years (since 2009), and what I love about working here is the Barbers shop is many things to different people and I love the diversity of each day. Plus I get to play records all day and make people look smarter. Outside of work.....all I do is work!! But in my sparse free time I have a large family to entertain and a very cute Labrador. I love playing guitar and singing but no world tours planned just yet! gun
Deanna
I have been cutting hair for over 21 years now and have been at McLaren Vale Barbers for over 6 years. Being a Barber brings out my creative side which I love and I also get to meet a lot of interesting and lovely people. Being a barber is hard work but it’s fun and I love it. I live locally with my husband and two son’s and I enjoy going away with my family in our caravan, Pilates, bike rides, long walks and reading. I also love visiting a lot of the amazing wineries in the area with my friends. Otherwise just relaxing at home with my family.
Naomi
Hi, my name is Naomi and I have been a hairdresser for 11 years and counting. The first six years of my career were spent in Japan and then I worked in New Zealand for four and a half wonderful years. I love working at McLaren Vale Barber Shop and the best thing about cutting hair is that I am able to show my creative side in each and every haircut I do. My mum, dad and older brother still live in Japan and I came to Australia to be with an Adelaide man who stole my heart. Outside of working with our wonderful clients I enjoy cooking my Japanese dishes, soaking up the sun at the beach, playing with my dog and exploring Adelaide with my friends.
